Set Password Policy.

  1. Open 'System' tab in "Manage" screen.
  2. Click 'Set' button under 'Password policy'.

  1. Set the password policy in 'Password policy configuration' dialog.

[1] Minimum Character: 8 characters

You need the minimum number of the character.
You can designate from 8 to 15 characters.

[2] Mandatory Character Type (Initial Setting: Nothing)

Mandatory Character Type. Include the 1 character at least.
You can select Upper Alphabet (A-Z), Lower Alphabet (a-z), Number (0-9), and Symbol

[3] Available Period (Initial Setting: Indefinitely)

Available period for password. Designate the available period based on the password changed date.
You can select from 1 day to unlimited day. (0 equals unlimited day)

Attention

  • The policy is effected as soon as the setting and effected to the existing password as well.
  • In case before CELF v.1.3.0, v.1.3.0 release date is the standard date for the available period.
  1. Click 'Register' button.

Important

You need the system administrator authority to set the password policy.
