Enable/disable two-factor authentication

To enable or disable two-factor authentication, the system administrator must have set the two-factor authentication usage setting to 'Available' or 'Forced use'.

Enable two-factor authentication

  1. Click 'User' button on the top right, then select 'Set up two-factor authentication' menu.

  1. In the 'Two-factor authentication setting status' dialog, click the 'Enable two-factor authentication' button.

  1. The QR code will be displayed in the 'Two-factor authentication settings' dialog. Scan the QR code with the one-time password generator on your smartphone and register your account. Enter the generated one-time password and click the 'Authenticate' button.

The QR code read by the one-time password generator on your smartphone will be displayed.

[2] One-time password

Enter the one-time password generated by the one-time password generator on your smartphone.

Tip

If you enable two-factor authentication, two-factor authentication will be performed after successful password authentication at login.
Enter the one-time password generated by the account registered in the one-time password generator of your smartphone in 'Enable two-factor authentication' and click the 'Authenticate' button.

Enter the one-time password generated by the one-time password generator on your smartphone.

If you lose your smartphone after activating two-factor authentication or if you uninstall the one-time password generator, you will not be able to obtain a one-time password and will not be able to log in.
In the above cases, ask your system administrator to disable two-factor authentication.

If the system administrator is unable to obtain a one-time password and cannot log in, please ask another system administrator to disable two-factor authentication. If there is no system administrator account available to log in, please contact CELF Support.

Disable two-factor authentication

Attention

If you want to enable two-factor authentication again, follow the steps in 'Enable two-factor authentication'. You need to enable two-factor authentication and scan the QR code with your generator again. The account registered in the one-time password generator before being disabled with the above steps can no longer be used.
