Set Restrict Access by IP address¶
Access to CELF (Desktop apps) and CELF Web apps (CELF BrowserAccess) can be restricted by IP address.
Set the IP address to allow the access¶
- Open 'System' tab in "Manage" screen.
- Click 'Set' button in 'IP address restriction' dialog.
- Choose 'Allow only specified IP address', then click 'Add IP Address'.'
- In 'IP address editing' dialog, set Global IP Address to allow the access.

Register the IP address to permit the access. Input Global IP Address to connect to CELF server. You can select the range by CIDR format.
Hint
Include the administrator IP address (current connection).

Add the registered IP address to permit.
Tip
You can add the multi-IP addresses to permit (up to max 1000 IP addresses).
- Click 'Register' button.

Attention
- The setting is effected as soon as the registration.
- The setting could affect other users who are in use.
- You can’t block the IP address which is in use currently.
Important
- You need System administrator authority to set the IP access restriction.
- Contact network administrator or service provider to get the information about the current global IP address.
