Bulk Registration of Organizations, Positions, and Affiliations Information

Register organizations, positions, and affiliations information by loading an information file (.csv).

Importing Organizations, Positions, and Affiliations Information

  1. Open the 'Organization Management' tab in the 'Manage' screen.
  2. Click the 'Import' button(the button with blue arrow icon).

  1. In the 'Import organization and position information' dialog, configure the import settings.

[1] File Name

Select the information file (.csv) to import.

Tip

Items for which no file is selected will not be registered.

[2] Replacement (default: unchecked)

All existing information will be deleted before registration.

Attention

  • Deleted data cannot be restored. If 'Replacement' is checked, make sure you really want to delete the old data.
  • Please note the following points.
    • If IDs in the data file to be imported are duplicated, it will result in an error.
    • If the data file to be imported contains IDs that are already registered, the information will be updated with the contents of the data file.

Hint

In addition to creating an import file by exporting organizations, positions, and affiliations information via Exporting Information of Organizations, Positions, and Affiliations, it can also be created in the following format.

  1. Organization Information
  • Header row: organization_id,organization_code,organization_name,upper_organization_id

Specifying unregistered user IDs, organization IDs, or position IDs will result in an error.
  1. Click the 'Register' button.

Important

System administrator privilege is required to import the information of organizations, positions, and affiliations.
