When I open an Excel file with a password set in the "Launch application" action,

subsequent processes do not run until I enter the password.

In some environments, such as if you are using Excel 2016

this may occur if you specify an Excel file with a password in the "Application to execute or file to open" field.

In this case, specify the Excel executable file (EXCEL.exe) in the "Application to execute or file to open" field,

and specify the file you want to open in the "Launch options" field.

The location of the Excel executable file for Office 2016 is as follows.

　C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\EXCEL.EXE

If the executable file does not exist in the above location, you can check where it is installed by following the steps below.

　１．スタートメニューの「Excel」のアイコンを右クリックします。

　２．「その他」の中の「ファイルの場所を開く」を選択します。

　３．表示されたウィンドウの「Excel」のショートカットアイコンを右クリックします。

　４．「プロパティ」を選択します。

In the window that appears, the path to the Excel executable file will be displayed in the "Linked to" field of the "Shortcut" tab.

If the executable file path does not appear in the "Linked to" section using the above method, please follow the steps below to find and confirm the location of the executable file.

*Depending on your environment, it may take several minutes to several dozen minutes before the search results are displayed.

　１．スタートメニューから「Windows システムツール」の「エクスプローラー」を実行します。

　２．表示されたウィンドウの左側に表示されているリストから「PC」を選択します。

If the list is not displayed on the left, select "Navigation Window" from the "Show" menu to display the list.

　３．ウィンドウ右上の「PCの検索」と表示されている入力欄に「EXCEL.EXE」と入力して Enter キーを押します。

After waiting for a while, "EXCEL.EXE" will appear in the list of search results.

If "EXCEL.EXE" does not appear in the list of search results, please check if you have Office installed on your computer.

　４．検索結果一覧の「EXCEL.EXE」を右クリックして「プロパティ」を選択し、プロパティ ダイアログの「場所」欄からパスをコピーします。

In the "Application to execute or file to open" field, add "EXCEL.EXE" to the end of the path you copied.

(Example)

If the folder shownin the search result overview is「C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16」,

"Application to execute or file to open" is set as「C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\EXCEL.EXE」.
