[RPA_FAQ000039] When executing the "Paste string" action, the letters "V" are pasted

Q

When executing the "Paste string" action, the letters "V" are pasted.
What should I do?

A

The following cases are possible and should be handled according to the applicable case.

[Case 1]
Possibility that the pasting process was not executed correctly
⇒Insert a "Wait for [ ] seconds" action before and after the corresponding action,
gradually increasing the time to 1, 2…seconds.
Even if there is no movement on the screen display, since there is a possibility that internal processing is taking place,
try setting the wait time to a few seconds longer to see if it improves.

[Case 2]
Possibility that pasting is not possible
⇒ Is it possible to paste the file manually by using "Ctrl + V"?
If you are unable to paste using "Ctrl + V", consider the following alternatives.

・Paste from right-click meu
・Using the "Type key" action, paste the clipboard contents with "Shift + Insert"

*It is assumed that the string to be copied has been selected beforehand and
the content has been copied to the clipboard using the "Copy to Clipboard" action.

[Case 3]
Influence of clipboard functions and browser add-ons
⇒ Try disabling features that affect the clipboard and browser add-ons
to see if it helps.
(For Windows10, if "Clipboard History" is on, turn off

[Case 4]
Influence of insufficient system resources and machine specifications
⇒ This may be due to insufficient system resources caused by
concurrently running applications or resident applications.
CLose concurrent or resident applications to the extent possible,
to see if it helps.

and refer to System Requirements .
