In the exported Excel file, when I check the formatting dialog for cells with date or time set,

there is a possibility that an unexpected locale is selected. Why is this?

A

Excel’s formatting dialog selects the locale that matches the date/time format set in the cell.

Therefore, if there is a locale that matches the date/time format selected in CELF,

that locale will be selected even if it is different from the locale of the usage environment.

No matter what locale is selected, the values in the cells and the values displayed will not change.
