[FAQ000070]What should I specify for the "reference type" and "[reference format]" in the argument of the ADDRESS function?¶
Q¶
What should I specify for the third argument "Reference type" and the fourth argument "[Reference Format]"
of the ADDRESS function available in CELF?
A¶
The following can be specified for the third argument of the ADDRESS function, "Reference type".
Reference type(optional):1 to4
1 = Absolute reference($A$1)
2 = Row only absolute reference(A$1)
3 = Column only absolute reference($A1)
4 = Relative reference(A1)
Also, the fourth argument "Reference format" is optional and can be specified for compatibility with Excel.
The values that can be specified for "Reference format" in Excel are as follows,
but since CELF does not support the R1C1 format, specifying them will not affect the operation.
Reference format (optional) :0 to 1
0 = R1C1 format
1 = A1 format
Attention
There are differences in the behavior of the ADDRESS function between CELF and Excel when arguments are omitted. For more information, please refer to Specification Differences in Sheets Between CELF and Excel .
