Test Before Releasing¶
Created sheet can be tested before releasing.
Test run¶
- Click 'Test run' button from ribbon menu.
- Sheet is opened as test run mode.
Tip
You can test action set selected from 'Test run' button in 'Action set setting' dialog as well.
Hint
If an error occurs during testing, you can see witch action failed in the error details dialog that appears from the 'Details' button.
The 'Location' shown here indicates the step number displayed on the left edge of the action set setting dialog.
However, it may not match the display of the action set setting dialog, such as when the published app you are running has been changed after publishing.
When the step number is not displayed on the action set setting dialog, you can set to show them. For more information, see "Show step numbers".
Hint
During the test run, click the error point reference button displayed on the error detail screen to display the edit screen of the action that caused the error.
However, if you do not have permission to edit the action set in which the error occurred, it is displayed as read-only. In addition, you can not view apps that do not have permission to view.
Note
- After completing test run, the changes made by action set can be rversed. However you can’t change back the changes made by data operation actions.
- If you opened as test run mode, even if you enable to switch table at publication from 'Table switching' tab in 'Application setting for publication', the access is not switched to the destination table at publication. If you need to run after switching target table at publication, refer Switch Unpublished or Published Table to be used by application.
