[FAQ000180]The message "Serialization error: Invalid magic number 0x0 found in stream header." appears inCurl RTE Console.

Q

CELF can no longer be launched.
When I double-click on the CELF shortcut icon, it responds for a moment, but it immediately disappears from the screen.
The Curl control panel is up and running.
I have reinstalled the software several times, but the phenomenon remains the same.

The Curl RTE console showed the following error.

"20XX-XX-XX XX:XX:XX.XXXXXX ERROR [COM.CURL.CELF.MAIN.[{proc} inside startup]] StreamCorruptedException:
Serialization error: Invalid magic number 0x0 found in stream header."

A

The CELF management information may have been corrupted due to a cause such as the PC being turned off during CELF operation.

Try manually deleting the following folder ([persistent-storage]) where CELF management information is stored and see if the problem improves.

%AppData%\Curl Corporation\Surge\persistent-storage
