During CELF installation, the following error message appears
and the installation cannot be completed.
"Unable to move from C:\Program Files\Curl Corporation\Surge\9-new
to C:\Program Files\Curl Corporation\Surge\9.
Click "OK" to retry.
Click "Cancel" to cancel installation."
What should I do?
A¶
This error occurs when the folder "9-new" created during the installation process
is locked for some reason and the process cannot be continued.
There is a possibility that the folder was temporarily locked
due to security-related software.
Canceling the installation, stopping the security-related software,
and then reinstalling it again may improve the situation.
If the problem persists,
you may be able to improve it by going to the "Control Panel" of Windows,
opening "Programs and Features", uninstalling "CELF" and "CurlRTE",
and then reinstalling them.
